Goshen Copper was originally discovered in the early 1950s near the town of Goshen, NB. It was determined at that time that the Main deposit was of a good grade (approx. 1.3% copper) but was limited in the volume of material.<\/p>\n

We took two approaches to creating an economic deposit. We examined the economics of making copper sulphur pentahydrate that could be used in mineral processing in the northern part of New Brunswick. The process was economic but the resources were too limited to justify the building of the processing equipment. Our second approach was to find more volume. There was historic showings that needed further examination. We took samples from the North showing and a showing in the South as well as examining or extending the boundaries of the Main deposit. We confirmed the historic data but no additional economic resources were found.<\/p>\n
